Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about our traditional handcrafted home products.
What materials are used in Zishta products?
We specialize in traditional, handcrafted materials including soapstone, cast iron, kansa, and pure copper, all sourced directly from artisan clusters across India.
How do I season my new cast iron or soapstone cookware?
Every order includes a detailed care manual. Generally, cast iron requires oiling and heating, while soapstone should be treated with turmeric and castor oil before its first use.
What is your shipping policy for domestic and international orders?
We ship worldwide. Domestic orders within India typically arrive in 5-7 business days, while international shipping timelines vary by destination and customs processing.
Are Zishta products safe for modern stovetops?
Most of our products are compatible with gas and electric stoves. However, for induction cooktops, we recommend using an induction interface disk unless the product is specifically marked as induction-friendly.
What is your return and exchange policy?
We offer a 7-day return policy for products that are damaged during transit or have manufacturing defects. Items must be unused and in their original packaging.
How do I know these products are authentic?
Zishta works directly with traditional artisans, bypassing middlemen. Each product is a result of documented heritage techniques and undergoes rigorous quality checks for material purity.
